ETI Brio XLR Connectors
For some time, XLR connectors with some type of Copper have been available, but many of the male pins have too much mass, which causes excessive capacitance and subsequently alters the sound. ETI Research was still not interested because this defeated the purpose of using Copper for superior sound quality.
The next step was to get female connectors made out of Copper. This was achieved by rolling flat Copper to make the female connection.
An additional problem was surface thickness. ETI Research has found the best-sounding thickness for low-voltage connectors. Going thicker or thinner negatively influences sound quality.
