We are proud to announce that we are now the UK distributor for Lundahl Transformers. This resulted in an excellent visit and tour of their premises in Norrtälje, Sweden. You can see the video below.
Lundahl has more than 65 years of experience in the manufacture of audio transformers. They boast the likes of Linn, Elekit, and Mojave as some of their customers. Making mains transformers, output transformers, chokes, isolations, headphone, line output, interstage and MC step-up transformers. They are world-renowned in the DIY community for their extraordinary product, and their designs cater incredibly well to the valve enthusiast. Working closely with Elekit, who regularly uses Lundahl output transformers, I know first-hand how well-produced and amazing they sound.
Lundahl not only winds in-house but also produces the component parts of its transformers from raw materials, such as the laminations, bobbins, etc. Additionally, they design and build all their winding and automated machines to assist with in-house production. Truly impressive.
