Orange Amps Valve Tester 300B Expansion Module

The new Expansion Modules are now available for purchase. Here we're showing off the 300B Expansion Module, these expansion modules are sold separately and expand the capability of the Orange Amps Valve Tester MKII. 

The 300B valve is incredibly popular amongst the Hi-Fi fraternity, so it's awesome to be able to test your 300Bs with your Orange Tester. However, the cost of valves has escalated dramatically since the invasion of Ukraine as many valves are made in Russian. The UK government also put a 30% duty on import valves from Russia. So it is so important to feel confident your valves are good. We have been using ours to test all sorts.

The expansion pack adds to the range of valves that your valve tester can test. The standard model allows the testing of EL34s, 6L6, 6V6, KT66, KT77, KT88, KT120, 6550, 5881, EL84, ECC81, ECC82, ECC83 and 12BH7. 

You can now buy expansion packs for GZ34, 6SN7, EZ80, EF86, and the 300B. The only downside is that you pay £162.50 for the privilege of testing only one valve.

The Orange Amps Valve Tester MKII, automatically tests Hi-Fi/guitar amplifier valves and displays their condition, performing a wide range of tests, quickly and accurately.
