JA DIY Octal valve holder PCB
JA DIY's simple printed circuit board for those who prefer not to use chassis mount valve bases. Great for scratch builders and experimenters. It provides easy access to all the valve pins without having to turn it upside down to work on, as each valve base pin connection has 2 easily accessible solder tabs connected to it.
This board is for use with octal valves. It measures 58mm x 58mm x 1.6mm thick and will hold your valve base securely. It is made to fit CMC or the Belton PCB type valve bases which are soldered directly onto the board. The centres of the 4 corner fixing holes are 50mm square, the holes themselves measure 3.15mm in diameter.
The PCB has put through holes so you only need to solder one side. Each side has a large copper earth plate with 9 earth solder tabs. Each non-valve base solder tab has a diameter of 1.5mm. The PCB is well labelled and has a solder resist too. Brilliantly designed, a very impressive useful tool for any valve constructor.
Supplied without valve bases. The following valve bases fit this board so please add to your cart:
CMC Teflon Octal Chassis mount base
CMC Bakelite Octal Chassis mount base
VT8-PT: Belton Octal chassis mount valve base, with extended PCB pins
VT8-PTS: Belton Octal chassis mount valve base, with PCB pins
