European Shipping Update April 2023

Many of our loyal customers reside in Europe, and dealing with Brexit has been challenging on both sides of the Channel. We would like to thank you during this time.

We have been working hard on improving our shipping solutions within Europe.

Since January 2021, the main issues exporting goods into Europe have been: paperwork creation, Import VAT and Duties and handling charges set by courier / postal companies.

We now offer customers the opportunity to pre-pay import VAT and Duties, thus removing handling charges and speeding up the delivery process. We do urge customers to pre-pay import VAT and Duties.

What happens to the extra funds you are paying? These are passed on to your country's revenue. Neither the UK nor HFC benefit from this.

We have introduced new lower-cost options from UPS, their Standard Service, and FedEx FICP service, as well as DHL GlobalMail, which uses the Deutsche Poste network within Europe, Germany's national postal service. Both a Tracked service and a very low-cost Non-Tracked service are available from DHL.
