AECO ABI-0611G Speaker Binding posts, Tellurium Copper Gold-plated
The ABI-0611 range from AECO, offers three types of Speaker Binding posts. The gold-plated version, the ABI-0611G, boasts the following criteria.
- All contact material is gold-plated Tellurium High-purity copper.
- Low mass conductor.
- Produced by CNC lathing as one piece.
- Fully insulated protection.
- It can be used for solder type or screw type.
- Sold as a pair, one red and one white in a vacuum pack.
The posts can receive bare wire of up to 4mm in diameter from the side, standard banana plug from the top and spade plug of either (6 or 8mm opening gap) from the side. The maximum chassis thickness it can be fitted to is 10mm.
Internally, if using the screw fitting method, the posts can receive bare, wire or cable end sleeves of up to 5mm in diameter. If the soldering for the internal connection, the ring and grub screw need to be removed (see the exploded view below). The half-cup solder connection can receive wire of up to 5mm in diameter.
