Neotech NES-3003 MKII: Multistrand Hybrid Speaker Cable

NES-3003 II is another specially designed 9AWG (6.0sqmm) Hybrid speaker cable with increased dynamic range and transparent and accurate sound. It consists of a UP-OCC Copper conductor and a UP-OCC Silver-Plated Copper conductor plus Polyethylene insulation with a CL3 flame-retardant jacket.

This cable consists of four UP-OCC stranded copper conductors wrapped in Polypropylene inner insulation, which is then wrapped in UP-OCC Silver-Plated Spiral Conductors after Inner Insulation. The four conductors are then encased in CL3-rated PVC insulation and an Anti-Electrical PVC outer jacket.

Neotech has long been a leader in producing wire and cable using "single crystal" UP-OCC Copper, developed by Professor Ohno of the China Institute of Technology in Japan. UP-OCC copper is at least 99.99998% pure and has an average crystal size of 125 meters. Compare this to the average crystal size of Oxygen Free Copper, which is .02 meters (3/4"). UP-OCC copper and silver are today considered the ultimate in copper and silver conductor technology.

Speaker wiring: One length is a mono length to drive one speaker.
For single wiring connect the copper and silver-plated copper conductors from the black and blue cores together and wire into a suitable connector for the negative, similarly connect all conductors from the red and white conductors for the positive.
For Bi-wiring, connect the copper and silver-plated copper conductors from the black core and wire into a suitable connector for the bass negative. Then connect the copper and silver-plated copper conductors from the blue core and wire into a suitable connector for the tweeter negative. Then connect the red core for the bass positive and the white core for the tweeter positive.

Supplied in continuous lengths of 1m, to make 2m stereo speaker cables, 4m is required.
