Harmonic Technology Multistrand Litz Copper Wire, 18AWG, 168/0.08

The most significant gauge of the excellent UP-OCC Liz wire from Harmonic Technology. At 18 AWG, the wire comprises seven bundles of 24 strands of 0.08mm diameter wire, each individually insulated, enamelled coated. Made up of a two-layer jacket, the twisted wire conductor diameter is 1.3mmm, the inner diameter jacket is 2.3mm, the material is Physics Foam PE, and the outer diameter is 3.7mm.

Being the larger gauge, it is capable of handling significant signals, so although still able to become an interconnect cable, it can also be used for loudspeaker cables and medium/large current applications in electronics.
