Glasshouse / Blore Edwards 1-pole 23-way switch / Mono Shunt Stepped Attenuator
This mono-shunt stepped attenuator features the Blore Edwards 1-pole 23-way switch, the OPZ-51259-1, with silver contacts. The NOS Audio Note was made to a similar specification. However, the OPZ-51259-1 has a lower torque, so it is easier to turn.
We have 23 volume positions from mute to near total volume through our tried-and-tested 2dB step values of resistors.
We offer the option to choose from 16 different resistor types for this kit.

Shaft: 6mm diameter x 13mm length
Bush: 10mm diameter x 12mm length
Body, including resistors fitted (internal part): 45mm x 52mm (oval shaped) x 22mm height
The front of the switch does possess a "non-turn" metal lug of 3.5mm diameter x 5mm in length that protrudes through the front panel, so provision is needed. If not required, this can be removed with cutters. If not, a 3.5mm diameter hole 13.5mm from the centre hole of the shaft is required.

For the 100K 0.25W and 0.5W Takman Metal & Carbon versions, we supply a 91K load resistor.
For the 10K 0.25W and 0.5W Takman Metal & Carbon versions, we supply a 10K 1W load resistor.
We can only supply the 50K, 100K and 250K options for the various Audio Note resistor types.
We can only supply the 10K, 20K and 25K options for the Charcroft Z-Foil type.
