The 23-pole Seiden range of switches is beautifully crafted. It offers a smooth turning action, quality contact materials, gold-plated silver, and a dust cover on all the contacts so you won`t suffer from noisy switching. The body is non-magnetic. The price is also reasonable. It's a great switch to use for any stepped attenuator.

This version offers 23 volume positions from mute to near total volume through our tried-and-tested 2dB step values of resistors. The switch's front does possess a "non-turn" lug of 3mm x 1.5mm that protrudes from the front panel. See the wiring diagram in the link below for the front panel drawing. This can be removed with cutters if not required.

We offer the option to choose from 16 different resistor types for this kit.

For the 100K 0.25W and 0.5W Takman Metal & Carbon versions, we supply a 91K load resistor.

For the 10K 0.25W and 0.5W Takman Metal & Carbon versions, we supply a 10K 1W load resistor.

We can only supply the 50K, 100K and 250K options for the various Audio Note resistor types.

We can only supply the 10K, 20K and 25K options for the Charcroft Z-Foil type.

Available as a kit or fully built. The build cost is an additional £20.

For 0.25W and 0.4W Charcroft resistor kit versions, supplied with

  • Seiden 1-pole 23-way switch
  • Selected resistor set (22 resistors)
  • 0.2m x HGG 0.5mm diameter wire
  • 0.05m x 0.5mm PTFE sleeving
  • 0.5m x Mundorf 3.8% silver/gold solder

For 0.5W and 2W AMRT resistor kit versions, supplied with

  • Seiden 1-pole 23-way switch
  • Selected resistor set (22 resistors)
  • 0.2m x HGG 1mm diameter wire
  • 0.05m x 1mm PTFE sleeving
  • 0.5m x Mundorf 3.8% silver/gold solder

the picture shows - 0.5W Audio Note Tantalum version, with a 2W Audio Note Tantalum Series / Load resistor fitted
