Glasshouse / Elma 1-pole 47-way switch / Mono Shunt Stepped Attenuator
We offer a huge 47-step, mono attenuator featuring Elma`s A47-SERB1-THT, 1-pole 47-way Switch for those who like a lot of control. As we have come to expect from Elma, this is a high-quality switch with extremely durable 3-micron gold-plated contacts throughout. The switch utilises a PCB to make your connections. It is a shorting, make-before-break type.
This board was initially designed as a series-type attenuator, but it can also be used as a shunt-type stepped. The build is trickier than the 23 and 24-step. Finer soldering is needed, and a lot more soldering is required, with around 92 joins per switch.
Although the switch is space efficient, we can reduce its width and height with the 0.25 Watt version. However, you must request a COMPACT build in the comments box.
We offer the option to choose from 16 different resistor types for this kit.

For the 100K 0.25W and 0.5W Takman Metal & Carbon versions, we supply a 91K load resistor.
For the 10K 0.25W and 0.5W Takman Metal & Carbon versions, we supply a 10K 1W load resistor.
We can only supply the 50K and 100K options for the various Audio Note resistor types.
We can only supply the 10K version of the Charcroft Z-Foil type.
