LL2785B: Lundahl Output Transformer

The LL2785B is an output transformer for single-end tube amplifiers, suitable for the popular 300B electron tube. The transformer is built up from two coils, each consisting of 3 sections. Separate windings are provided for optional cathode feedback connection - 7% tapped. The windings are arranged to minimize destructive capacitive coupling between primaries and secondaries. The C core is a high-quality grain-oriented silicon steel C-core from our Lundahl`s own production. The transformers are of an open frame type and are suitable for mounting inside an amplifier housing.

The LL2785B 60mA Single-ended is used in the Elekit TU-8600SVK.

The LL2785B is available in 3 versions. (The air-gap is adjusted during manufacture to suit)

• 60mA Single-ended
• 70mA Single-ended
• 90mA Single-ended

(N.B. The purpose of the airgap is to accept the DC current of the output valve without saturating the core, leaving enough headroom for the sound signal)

Depending on how the winding sections of the transformers are wired together via the exposed solder pins, the constructor can adjust the following primary and secondary impedances.
