LL3723: Lundahl Output Transformer

The Lundahl LL3723 C-core output transformers for tube amplifiers have a primary impedance of 4K3 with a secondary impedance of 4R or 8R, depending on how you wire them up.

The LL3723 is an output transformer with UL taps for push-pull amplifiers. The transformer has two coils, each consisting of 3 sections, one primary and two secondary sections. The secondary sections are tapped for 4 and 8 ohms load. The windings are arranged to minimize destructive capacitive coupling between primaries and secondaries and for tiny phase errors between the anode and UL tap. The C core is a high-quality grain-oriented silicon steel C-core from Lundahl`s production.

The LL3723 is only available in one version.

Depending on how the winding sections of the transformers are wired together via the exposed solder pins, the constructor can adjust the following primary and secondary impedances.
